I am a Boca Knight! Interview with author, Steve Forman

So one day I’m driving and my mom calls me.  I’m using a hands free phone of course…and she proceeds to read me a line from this book.  Well, I laughed so hard I nearly had to pull over to the side of the road.  She told me the name of the book.  It was called “Boca Knights”, by first time author Steve Forman.  I feel it’s important to mention this point of first time author, because Steve has a food business.  He supplies all the tuna for Subway sandwich shops and his first book got published when he was 67 years old.  How cool is that?!?

Anyway, I proceeded to read one of the most hysterical “murder mysteries” ever.  I laughed out loud as I read it.  I read lines to my husband.  I finished the book in 3 days.

Boca Knights is a book that spans a bit of history, but primarily takes place in Boca Raton, FL.  You don’t have to live here to appreciate the humor, but I loved reading about roads I drive on regularly.   He followed up “Boca Knights” with “Boca Mournings”, and I have to say that Steve Forman hit upon a real winner. It continues where “Boca Knights” leaves off and takes you through twists and turns you would never expect.   I recommend this series to anyone who likes a good novel, murder mystery or just needs a good laugh.  No really, I talk to people about books and recommend these books to them.

I had so much fun interviewing him.  I can’t wait for the third installment of the series called, what else, “Boca Daze”.  When you finish his books, you’ll want to be a “Boca Knight”!

I really enjoyed this interview. I liked it so much that I downloaded Boca Knights. It’s very funny. I think people should check out the interview, as Dara is, as always an engaging interviewer and Steve Forman is a riot. Get the book too. It’s a hoot. I am not even from Florida and have never been to Bocca, but I feel like I have now.
